Since the winter season has started, we started feeling a little bit cold during nights. Though I am living in India,, all the places are not alike. in our place the cold is moderate. where as, the state where i lived earlier is too cold but my native place is not at all cold even during the extreme winter. How about the chillness and cold in your place?

Well, we are not as Cold as some areas are yet, but at times we are colder. I have had to turn on our heat already and use warmer blankets on the bed as well, as well as wearing sweatshirts when I am outside as well. We are actually a little cooler than normal for this time of yr. but let's hoping things will not get worse once winter sets in for sure.

For the first time I am hearing about the sweatshirts. Is Sweaters and sweatshirts are the same or sweatshirt differs from a sweater?

Here it was chill all these days. But of late it is not cold at all. May be chillness will start little later during November, December. But now during early morning hours, little bit of chillness is felt by me. But my husband says it is not cold.

Yes. in India the chillness starts during the onset of November only and it will be peak in December. After February, it will start dwindling.

Yeah it can get very cold here in Wisconsin, USA. Right now we are havng our first frosts and cold snap. I don't like it very much, especially having to put the heat on in my drafty house as the heat bill will be here before I know it. We've been lucky & have missed the snow some of the plains states have gotten, as it's too early for this!

I know. Besides cold, snow showers also will be there in USA where as in India only we can feel the cold but can overcome it with the help of quilts and sweaters but there will not be any frosts and cold snaps. in the northern parts of India, the fog and the mist will be there.

I live in New York state, in the U.S.A. While winter won't technically be here for a couple of months yet, it has started getting cold here! We actually had a pretty good freeze last night. I actually had to get my ice scraper out for me car this morning, lol. We haven't turned our heat on yet though. It just feels a lil early to be paying for heat already! Probably within the next month though we'll be seeing some snow showers. I'm so not ready for winter!

Oh! even my niece is living in New York only and my sis and bro in law visited there twice. They will explain about the winter season and the snow showers and even took photographs of the snow showers. In India, i think in the Northern part, the winter may be so cold but not in the Southern parts. So I have never seen the snow showers but I love to.

Hi Dipak, though I am not from West Bengal, i have got lots of Bengali friends and neibours who like me more and time and again gift me with Sindoor which is my favourite choice and its name is RANGJAVA which is a beautiful colour and yummy rasgullas. I am from Bangalore. Here the winter is tolerable. If you like snow fall, you have to go to Kashmir and enjoy. I know Darjeeling but have not visited even once
