Stickability in one's job... uncommon sight.

I haven't used that word before but I found it fitting to describe my niece's attitude to her work. She left for Canada 16 years ago and found a job as an accounts clerk. Now after such a long time, she is still there in the same company, only this time, a manager. She rose from the ranks after countless difficulties ahe'd been through. It seems to me that people today change jobs often for several reasons.
How many times have you changed your jobs?
Any particular reason?

I have been working for more than 30 years now and I have only worked for 3 companies. I worked with a government agency for 4 years and with a bank for 6 years. I have stayed with my current employer for 20 over years already.
I moved from the government agency to a bank for a financial reason--the bank pays better. But I moved from the bank to my current job for a spiritual reason--to respond to God's call to serve Him in church.
