basketball------you are nothing in my life

Dear wannabe player,
I'm not as bad as you think I am. I need some time to get used to you, just like you need some time to get used to me.
Why don't you practice on your own, away from your mocking friends? When there's no pressure, you may find that it's not that hard to throw me in the basket.
Watch some good basketball players on TV, study their moves. See if you can copy those moves when you & I are practising - away from your friends, of course.
Please don't give up on me. And please don't say good bye.
I hope we can go play soon.

I would not give up. Purchase your own basketball and go to the park or wherever they have a hoop and practice. You will become a good player soon.

First start with the basic don't dream of becoming a superstar in one night. Just take it slow, don't mind the people mocking because they are not your friends when they don't encourage you. Train yourself and persevere

first of all. what you play for? just for fine or you want to be a star player? you have tried and found out you couldn't play well.That's OK. No one is born to be a basketball star.Kobe is not, LBJ is not, Even MJ is not. If you have read the story of MJ who is the GOD of the basketball in most people's heart. You will find out how he became a star. You need to prectise for thousonds of times. Of course this is based on you want to be a star. If you only play for fine, that's even easier. Just go and play. Don't worry about others laughing at you for you miss the ball or a shoot. Try to be a team player, if someone laugh at you, just ask him to show you the correct way to do it and learn from there. Next time you will be better. Don't just give up for something you like. I played basketball every week and in my team there are some players' level are not so high. But they are running, shooting, defencing...... For what, for fine.
Come on. pick your ball and go to the GYM. Not only to face those who laugh at you. You are facing yourself.

I feel sad to hear you wants to give up basketball.Never mind let your friend laugh fist,then you should learn and practices more to be good.The practices in coorect ways make perfect.Even many good player the start also play very bad,but don't give up.

Basket ball is a good sport game.Try to learn it.Even you cannot play good never mind is just a game and exercise.It will bring health body to you.

Remember in sport friendship is the most important.No matter you can play well or not you also can learn how to build friendship and team work from playing basket ball.So please don't give up.
