I take effexor for depression and clonazepam for anxiety

I take Lithium and I cannot get anything else for my anxiety because my doctor tells me its supposed to act as anti-anxiety drug too. The ideal situation is that you take your meds regularly and do therapy alongside it, it took me three years to do the therapy and its tough. It's like my anxiety has gotten worse because theres just a lot of ___ I've been holding on to so what Im trying to say is yeah, you can dumb the pain, theres many different ways to go about that--my skeleton is alcohol, have to avoid it like the plague--but if not dealt with it will keep poking its dirty head and that is exhausting.

how many mg of effexor do you use?
I am at 350 and it does help a lot,but all these drugs are meant to suppress feelings so that you do not feel bad,but just let things pass by.
What type of depression do you have? Mine is sever clinical depression that they found I have had all my life,and will only be controlled with meds for the rest of it,I still get very apprehensive when out in public.
I would ask your doctor before using any otc meds,they may counter the meds your taking.

I don’t know nothing about medicines for depression or anxiety but I wish I knew more since I have been trying all my life to not get near medicine for my depression and anxiety. I think that only persons that have helped me are my kids since I have to look out for them. But there have been many times that I almost go craysy because I try to boodle everything up and at the end I just want to die so I will cry for day and for anything. And I get anxiety attacks were I want to scream or hit something for no reason but there are times that I can’t do it so I will try to control it and I will get dizzy.
