What if you caught your friend reading your mobile text messages?

I honestly have nothing to hide, so I don't really care. But depending on the messages I would. Especially if it between me and a boyfriend, then yes I'd mind. But everyday convo via texts I don't care about.

For me, if I don't get the permission from my friend even my wife, I will never check their mobile, as all our mobile maybe has some secret files that we don't others to know. so if my friends reading my mobile text message without my permission, I will tell them kindly please don't do it next time, if you want to play with my phone, please get my permission firstly...thanks

I can't agree with you anymore.

I will become angry if I find one of my friends read the messages of my mobile phone without my permission. Yes, I just treat their practices as actions lack of respect for others. In order to prevent such a thing happening next time, I have set up a secret code on my mobile, which is really useful to stop their actions.

I think you can make a secret code too then you can protect your privacy obviously.

I think it's really an upset thing. I hope it will never happen to me.I am a serious person. If my friends do things like that, I think he or she might do something bad to me.Such friends are not reliable.

I won't mind because I am not keeping any secrets but I will make sure that she won't have another chance of doing it. I will make her promise that she won't do it again to anyone and will blackmail her by telling what a bad she had if she do it again. If I also see cellphone lying around the area, I will call the attention of the owner to keep her/his cellphone safe because it might get lost. That way, I was also protecting my friend from being tempted to read the messages on that phone.

If that happens to me, I probably get upset. Reading others cellphones without permission is like stealing. That's aside from the secrecy of the messages.

In my experience, I actually caught my mother and brother doing this on my cellphone and I got angry. But I don't hide my text messages from my wife. She can always see it anytime she wants and it is with my permission. I actually put a security code wherein only me and my wife knows. That's how I'm getting away with those stealers.

I don't think that would ever happen to me because I always bring my phone with me wherever I go. But if something like that should happen to me, I would be disappointed because my privacy has been violated. I would probably confront my friend as calmly as I can and tell her that I am not happy with what she did and explain to her that she has betrayed my trust because of what she has done.

I don't like anybody read my mobile massage because i have some privacy and i am not give permission to do this either my family or friends everybody want some privacy so if i feel my massages are not save anybody read any time and i cant do anything so i just delete my all massages every fortnight. What are you doing guys?

well at first i would definitely be disappointed, and i think that friend of mine has no right to read my messages, if he/she has a common sense, of course they will not do it.. knowingly that cellphones now are very private, but if ever it will happen to me, ahmm, dunno what will i do..!! but i have nothing to hide on it, i am confident enough to let them borrow it..

I would get upset of course, even though I don't have anything to hide it's kinda rude for someone to invade someones privacy without his/her permission. It's like reading someone else diary.
