While I was reading a novel entitled "Fallen Angel"... I got interested with this line about the theory of Aristophanes about love... "LOVERS ARE BORN JOINED BUT THE GODS SEPARATE THEM AT BIRTH. THEY WANDER THE EARTH, LOST AND LONELY, TILL THEY FIND EACH OTHER AGAIN".... if they don't find each other, they find the second best.. Well, for me, I kinda believe this stuff since I experienced it... lol, most people based it on their experiences... So, how about you?... Do you somewhat believe this?...**Share your opinion**.. Have a nice day!

What a lovely theory. I've never come across it before. However, I've certainly experienced the theory in action. After a very unsatisfactory first marriage, I am now married to the man who I believe was destined for me, as he is the love of my life. I've thought I've been in love before, but I know this is the real thing, so yes, I buy into Aristophanes' theory. Nice discussion, thank you.
