big celeb?  

I think lady gaga does it all for the attention it doesn't count if it's not really who you are however I like her sound.

Hi weiying: I agree with you in the fact that Lady Gaga has a big future in the music industry. She has a lot of big hits in her last album: Just dance, Poker Face, Boys, Boys, Boys, Papparazzi. But in the other hand i don't like the way she dress up, i think it's horrible and that she's not a fashion icon. Lol. Xd. Sorry

Unfortunately, I think the "big celebs" today are more about publicity rather than actual talent. For kids, that includes Miley Cyrus and the Jonas brothers. They may have some talent (well, not acting for either) but really, it's just about their target audience. They are sellable, no real staying power.

Lady Gaga is the same. She has some great, catchy dance songs but not a lot of depth to her. And her behavior screams "tabloid publicity." Much like Britney Spears.

As for actual talent, I think Josh Groban and Charice Pempengco both have strong futures in the music industry. Amazing voices, with the personalities that will keep them out of rehab and tabloids, and in the actual music scene.
