I used to wash my mom and dad’s clothes when I was still staying at their house. Now that I live on my own, I wash my own clothes. I don’t use fabric conditioner on the clothes for im sensitive to the odor of the fabcon. I learned that mom is fond of using that to their clothes. She enjoyed the smell of the clothes after being dried up. I have read some articles regarding the effects of fabcons on the clothes.the chemicals make the clothes thinner and is also harmful to the respiratory system. That’s why even now, I don’t use fabcon. Please share some thoughts here or if this is just a myth. thanks in advance.

hi flagella, I'm also fond of using fabric conditioner, I love the smell of it when dried and it really softens the fabric thus ironing becomes so smooth and easy. I don't usually dry my clothes under the heat of the sun and the smell seems good when dried even inside the house if I'm using fabcon. Good day!

Is fabric conditioner the same as fabric softener? If yes, then yeah, I love using it. It leaves my clothes softer and very comfortable to wear. I add it when I wash my bedsheet too. It doesn't make my laundry to be thinner, I have no problem with it. Don't use on your towel though, it'll make it less absorbent. If you are sensitive, you can try ones that's made for babies clothes or the hypoallergenic.

My wife uses it too. It's good to use specially when it's raining outside. I like the smell of the clothes when wearing them, but I told my wife to use it properly. I'm quite sensitive to clothes not properly rinse and dry.:)

I use fabcon all the time. It gives that smooth and extra touch to my laundry. I experiment with a lot of scents. I was not aware though that they reduce clothes to that condition. In a way, even detergents contain chemicals which can also contribute to fabric degradation.

I don't use fabric conditioners as I've a feeling that they might make the clothes unusable after a couple of washes. Well...this is my opinion. I just use a good washing powder.

I am using fabric conditioner for my family and so far, there is not problem with it. I had been using it for many years, well i think i am addicted to the fragrance smell of the fabric conditioner. Without it, i feel that my clothes not clean enough to wear. Especially during raining season, we need to put this fabric conditioner to cut-off the smell, if the clothes need to dry indoor. The best is, don't over put the fabric conditioner quantity into the water which you use for rinse your clothes.

I always use fabric conditioner as think that it makes your clothes smell fresher as well as feel alot softer when they are worn.I do not put much in the washing machine as i think that too much is a waiste of money as you never need to use very much of it.In the past there has been a fabric conditioner that i can a skin reaction towards so i use just the same sort all the time now so that it do not happen again.
