When are you going to start living your life?

Hi VVroom. To most young people, that may be the case. Always on the go for something to attend to. But to old people like me, I have the pleasure of living life to the fullest each day. I enjoy doing what I am tasked to do this moment of my life. Right now I am happy interacting with you, even if only in the computers. Appreciate the blessings of each new day. Thank God for that each night.

My answer is "at the right time". We all start living when we start living, not a moment too soon, not a moment to late. Giving you an answer would mean that I'm planning that moment and, as you pointed out so perfectly, every time we plan, we have to expect something else than planned.:)
Stop planning, vvroom. Go and give your girlfriend/wife/daughter a kiss without planning it ahead. And then come back and tell me how it felt.;)

Hello Wroom. When we are young at school, we are receiving education for the preparation of our future, therefore, what we are going to do after we leave school is comparatively related to what we study at school. A good knowledge of technique or professional skill is of great importance to all of us for the preparation of our future life. So it is better for one to have a clear aim what one is going to be engaged in once he starts his work or his own business.

As to stopping preparation for our life, I think that it never ends so long as we live. Otherwise, life without an aim seems to be boring and hopeless to me.

I started living when Jesus came into my heart and reside. During my earlier years, I think that I just existed without living real life. Now, I know that I am living whatever men may say. Jesus is my Savior and I shall not be moved. He was the one who gave me the real life. I am just glad that I was able to know God in my life. I hope that I will continue to be a good follower of Jesus.

I think that while you think what you are going to do when you "grow up", you are living. Goals change from time to time but life goes on. I´m 64 and I still ask myself once in a while what will I do when I grow up. But now changes are smaller and goals are short termed.
Still, once in a while you do something really different and crazy. Last January I was invited to go in a sailboat from Cartagena de Indias to some islands in Panama where there are still indians that live very similar as how they did before Columbus.
It wasn´t a cruise and you had to help with pulling ropes and making something to eat. But it was awesome. Quite tiring too (it would have been better if I was on my 30s and no back surgery). But that´s life. Take it now, carpe diem.
