Product Liability law is the legal binding which ensures that product manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, retailers and all those responsible for making different products available in the market are held liable if such products cause harm or injury to an individual or more than a person. In the United states, claims which are usually associated with Product liability issues include; Negligence, strict liability, breach of warranty, and customer protection claims. A legal injury attorney files such cases on behalf of his client.
A product liability injury lawyer can file claims under three types of product liability cases and such cases are; Product design defects, Product Manufacturing defect, and marketing defects{ this is the failure of the manufacturer, supplier or retailer to warn the public}. One of the things that make a product liability different is that even before an injury lawyer files a claim on product liability, the plaintiff might plead negligent failure to warn or strict liability for defective design. The Plaintiff can do this only if the dangers in such products are non-obvious or are not noticeable as at the period the product is being manufactured or designed.
