Narrow Escape Or A Miracle?

Yes, what do you think of this heart rendering article where a six month old toddler actually fell into the track at the suburban railway station in Melbourne, along with his pram and it was struck and run over by the 250-ton train? Death? Inevitable death, right? Yet, I just do not know who else to thank other than our gracious God where the baby actually escaped certain death with only a slight bump on the head. Shaking my head and still in disbelief, I just cannot even feel the anger for a careless mother and insufficient safety measures in the railway station. This is certainly a day to be happy and remember that miracles do exist and does happen. How about you? Do you have any miracles or good news to share? I saw that on the news today, and yes it is a miracle that the child came out of it ok. with out being hurt. I do not believe that the mother was being careless with that child she just turned her head for a second and she was standing right their. At least that is what it looked like on the video.

I don't have any articles of a miracle to share. However, I did see this on the news this morning. This was one of the biggest stories in the news today. I was certainly amazed that this child survived. I bet the mother was so grateful. I was trying to figure out how it must have happened. The sidewalk must have been on a downslope toward the train tracks, which should be a major hazard to begin with. And it appeared that when the parent turned to get a ticket, or something, that the carriage slid down to the tracks. I can't believe that she didn't notice it fast enough to catch it. Then again, if she would have noticed it and went after it, it may have been her that was on the tracks, and she may not have been so lucky. I just seen the headlines and video, so I don't know the whole details, I am just presuming what happened here.

kykidd, Together with you I just cannot help feel amazed till today with whatever happened here. The fact that the child is alive is just overwhelming over the events leading to the accident. I am still questioning at the back of my mind as to why the platform at the railway station is being uneven and slanted towards the tracks. Being that, how can the mother not notice and so on and so forth. Literally - careless, wouldn't you agree?
