1. love_all (277) | 2 months ago | i am not sure.. if i know much.. but the best i do is cook veg soups...
i mix the vegetables.. and boil them..
churn them. and then boil them again in some water with a little bit of cornflour..
that gives a great look.. and a lovely taste...

2. kykidd (4555) | 2 months ago | One of the things that my mom used to always make when were kids was small sandwiches. She would buy pimento spread and ham salad already made from the grocery store. Then she would spread it on a slice of bread, and top it with another slice of bread, just like a regular sandwich. Next, she would cut the sandwich diagonally down the middle and then cut those slices in half. Each sandwich would make four little finger sandwiches.
One thing that I really enjoy making is sausage and cheese trays. It is easy to take a summer sausage and slice it, and place it around the edge of a platter. Then put different kinds of cheese on the tray, and a couple of different types of crackers as well. These trays are usually quickly devoured.
Here's to wishing you lots of luck with your appetizers!

4. deathspectacular (795) | 2 months ago | Try having a veggie plate, and cut up some pita bread and toast it. Serve with Hummus. It's vegan friendly, and it's delicious and healthy. Spinach dip in a bread bowl is an easy thing to make too.

|
|
| kara18 (55) | 2 months ago | Yeah this is really healthy. I haven't really prepared a SPinach dip yet, is there an available spinach dip in store? Not sure if i've seen one in the market?

| B3lla86 (80) | 2 months ago | A super easy spinach dip recipe
Ingredients:
1 medium size mixing bowl 1 table spoon, 1 fork, and a rubber spatula is also helpful but not necessary 1 Packet of Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix 1 16 ounce container of sour cream 1 box of Frozen Chopped Spinach
(Optional) 1 can of sliced water chestnuts
-The day before- Prep: ----------------- Open box of frozen spinach and place in a colander. Place colander over a bowl that will keep the colander far enough away from the juice that will drip in the bowl. Place in the refrigerator overnight.{The juice will drain from the spinach so that the dip will not be watery}
Empty contents of Sour cream container, using the table spoon, and packet of veggie soup mix into the mixing bowl. Mix together thoroughly with the fork.
(Optional) If you choose to add the water chestnuts, then open the can and drain the water. The water chestnuts should be sliced, so you will need to stack a few slices together and cut those into sticks. That's also referred to as julienne. Once that is done you need to cut the sticks into pieces so that you end up with small cubes. That's a small dice. Basically the water chestnuts add a bit of texture to the dip, but they don't really have very much flavor on their own, so its simply a choice of what you prefer.
-The day you plan to use the dip-
Add the drained spinach to the contents of the mixing bowl and incorporate thoroughly. The dip is essentially done at this point. You can either transfer back to the sour cream container, however it'll not all fit in the same container now that the other ingredients have been added.
Other ideas would be to get a round loaf of some kind of bread and carve out some of the middle to make a bowl and add the dip to that, leave it in the mixing bowl, or put the dip into a decorative bowl. This is where the rubber spatula come in handy. The rubber spatula will ensure that none of the dip is left in the mixing bowl.
Anyway, I hope you like the recipe.

| 7. B3lla86 (80) | 2 months ago | I have a fairly large family and we usually get together for all of the major holidays. A big hit with my family, I've found, has been a dish that I kind of came up with as a joke, but its extremely good. Its also great because you can do most of it ahead of time, and the main part of the appetizer can be put in the freezer to be used as needed. All you need is 2 packages of the mini smoked sausages, a package of sliced bacon (whatever you like is fine, but it's not necessary to get thick sliced bacon), and light brown sugar. You'll also need a casserole dish or a pan with somewhat taller sides than a sheet pan and some kind of nonstick spray. I prefer the olive oil Pam spray.
You'll need to open the bacon and cut the whole amount of bacon slices into thirds. Each slice will make three wrapped sausages. Spray the casserole dish or pan with the nonstick spray. All you need to do is wrap the slice of bacon around the mini sausage and place them seam side down. Try to place each sausage right next to the one before it in the pan or casserole dish. After the whole bottom of the dish or pan is covered, then you place in the oven for about 5 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or until the bacon is about 2/3 of the way done. Pull the pan or dish out and sprinkle the brown sugar kind of liberally over all the bacon wrapped sausages. Then place back into the oven until the brown sugar has caramelized onto the bacon wrapped sausages.
Now all you have to do is let them cool a little and they are ready to eat. You absolutely need to let them cool because the sugar can literally take the skin off your tongue if you aren't careful. Hope you enjoy. I'm sure anyone you let try these will love them. You're only problem may be not having enough. Lol

|
| kara18 (55) | 2 months ago | I think I've prepared something similar, but not with the caramelized sugar! Now this is really something sweet and yes i should say fancier:) hmm, yeah I bet the kids would love these too. I'm sure i'll really need to prepare this a day before and I'll make sure lots of it!:)
Thanks again for sharing this, and the spinach recipe too.
I'll keep you all posted if I've I'm able to try all the recipes that you've shared. Thanks for the time and enjoy preparing those appetizers!:)

9. wookieekyut (319) | 1 month ago | I know some. Try pickled raddish. Cut the raddish into thin strips and squeeze it.Add cut onions and tomatoes. Then boil vinegar with salt and sugar and pour on the raddish. You can add ginger if you want. Another one is pork and fried tofu with vinegar, soy sauce, pepper, onions. Still another one is chopped green mango with chopped ginger, chopped chili, onion and shrimp paste.
