Is it necessary to hire a private investigator to spy on a spouse?

In some places people do hire PI's to catch their spouse if they suspect them of cheating. Personally, I don't see the need. The spouse's action will betray him/her anyway. And why display your dirty linen in public? If a harm to the family has already been done why let the world know about it, it is adding more insult to injury.
what do you think?

Hello Manong,
I remember this show from Eat Bulaga whereas they interview a contestant who previously works for a private investigation agency. their purpose, is to conduct surveillance on their partners here in the Philippines while they're husbands or wife work abroad. I was shocked to hear this but some how they were some good points, as to determine if the partner is being faith-ful while wife/hubby is away abroad. they do exist, unless you have the money, they'll do it.

yes, again it's a question of money. I sympathize with couples where one spouse has to go abroad to earn a living. They are indeed in a very vulnerable condition and need extra strength of character not to succumb to temptations.

I believe you are right. I don't think it is necessary to hire private investigators to check on spouses, if you relationship came to this point, you have been dragging it too long already. I mean if you suspect your wife is cheating on you, and there is no trust on your relationship anymore, it is not supposed to go on.

This would totally depend on the situation! If your filthy rich and have no prenep, then You should in order to build a case for the future! This is an outsider who can testify,if it came down to that! Your dirty laundry will get out either way, people love to gossip and trying to keep secrets is a thing of the past!

thanks tdemex. I agree, rich people have more than just the relationship to consider. Their wealth plays an important role and they really have to build a strong case. Eventually, the dirty laundry will be displayed anyway. If secrets are known later so be it, but to take actions and take the initiative to make it known is entirely a different matter.

i don't think it is necessary. it is costly so i will do it myself, hahahaha. i will not display our dirty linen in public. i will not let anybody know of my suspicion unless i get proof. that is why i want to spy on him myself.
