Christamas traditons what are yours?

When I was a kid growing up every year my parents would buy me a special Christmas oritment like if we went on vaction they would get one and we would out it in a trunk and then I moved out and got married they gave the trunk to me for my own chritmas tree. they even snuck in a few that my brother and i made in school. I do this with my kids now. I hope they love it and appreciate it when they grow older like I did because I knew every one of them had a special meaning to my parents when they picked it out.

I do that for my boys, they get a new ornament for each year that have been on this Earth. I also have kept all the ones that they have made me no matter what the condition is of them. I will pass them to each of them when they move out. That way they already have ornaments for their trees.
One other tradition we have for Christmas Eve is they get to open one special present and then we snack on homemade candies and cookies and drink homemade hot chocolate. We end up watching movies that night til we all get tired enough to go to bed.

Ahh those are great traditions. Home made hot chocolate sounds really good.
