It's hard to be real if everyone around you is fake!!!!

By being as yourself and maintaining it in your difficult environment, you will develop stronger characters and grounds for your principles. Don't be scared, but see it as a challenge. Don't hate them, but pity them in your heart, because they are people who doesn't have confidence in themselves. What you have to do is to have another circle of friends outside your office hours that you can feel comfortable with, and truly be your self. That way, you will have a balance and your friends will always pull you back to be yourself again. Good luck.

the only way you will be NOT yourself is by your own choice....So what if everyone else is fake..why does that mean you have to be...I'm me no matter where I am or who I'm with..I refuse to lower myself to their standards by trying to be somene else or follow the crowd ya know....its not worth it to me - I'm PROUD of who I am and the fact that I'm so comfortable in who I am tht I can be myself...and I pity ppl who wont just be themselves...If you want to just keep being real and keep being you then DO IT...

well to have a peace of mind, i just go with the flow. but it's also 100 percent that i came in fake with them. those people can't be trusted so you don't need to pose the real you. in fact, people are fake wherever they go. even some of your family members are not true to you.
