"Price is not a number" what's this suppose to mean? I need help guys...

Hello again guys.....I was trying to make business site when I stumble on the price of the product I am going to sell. At the box of the Price i put the dollar price of the item and the website said " Price is not a number" and when I wrote in words still it was neglected..."Price is not a number" how did you manage this guys...

Try to check if you have your number lock pressed. You may ave accidentally keyed it so the special characters are the ones appearing instead of the numbers. That is probably the reason why the price you are typing is not accepted. You should see a LED light beside your numlock but if it does not have one, try typing at another site or at a notepad to see if the number characters appear. Good luck!

What site are you referring to?
Have you entered a numeric value? Without characters or the "$" sign? Try inputting a whole number, without decimals or the "." character.

I have never heard of that, I have had some instances in surveys on line that they don't give an option that fits me, but an answer is required so I just pick one. If I come across something that won't take any answer I just get out of the site. One time there was a field that asked for a phone number, and it wouldn't take anything I typed in.
