The best revenge is being beautiful, is this true?

That's a great line. I don't know where you got it from, but it's a wonderful attitude to life!
I understand from that line - that when tough times come, and I appear to be beaten, I will respond - not by being dejected and negative, but by being beautiful - on the inside and out.

Yes that is true for me too. I think it is a slap on the face of your "Ex" if you have managed to be beautiful despite coming from a failed relationship. And if he had cheated that's why you broke up, it would definitely make him wish he had not let you go instead. He'd definitely regret dumping you or breaking up with you. It is very true that we need to love ourselves. My motto is actually, "Boyfriends can be replaced but you, there's only one you so better learn to love yourself more than anyone else":D

hello, i think that's a good notion there. not to do the actual revenge that normal people are used to doing. i believe that revenge is like poison, it can consumed your entire life and changed you with out knowing - spiderman III lolz, but it's true. loving oneself is the best way to avoid loosing yourself when the one you love suddenly throws you

ya thats indeed a gr8 idea.when a bad relationship ends it takes its toll on one's self esteem.many a times people give the excuse of losing attraction as the criteria to end a relationship (not overt one though).so the left out person is left with self doubt and may feel himself/herself to be non-attractive.hence the real revenge is to be beautiful and prove them wrong.this will be fair justice to both.

I like to think that 'revenge' may not be the right word, but 'self-improvement'.

If you think the guy who left you feels unfortunate for letting you go when he sees that you've become a more beautiful woman, you have never really accomplished anything with regards to your motive of revenge. Bury the past and be your guide to becoming a new and better you.

well speaking on a man's point of view. yeah i guess you're right. improving one's self is the best revenge. it's a win-win situation. you're more improved plus you were able to get back. i guess that will also bring some kind of insecurity on the part of your guy's partner hehe..
