McAfee site advissor says ther is a bug in mylot   

My AVG registers some of the ads here as containing possible phishing viruses, so that is probably what your McAfee is picking up on.

You say there might be a bug and then ask us to click a link

The link doesn't work, please provide a synopsis.

MyLot has had some problems with security lately. It's not a bug that's for sure to me. It is a hack I think. Looks like hackers injected something. Not sure though.

I use AVG and Spybot and I have never had any such warnings nor even had a threat from here when I scan before I log off every night
I have never used McAfee but I have read some people saying its not the best
But the way I see it is this place has been around a long time and if there were unwanted nasties on here people wouldnt be using this place like they do
I tried to get onto Pickjack the other day and my puter told me it was an attack site, lol,
So I know not to go there, but this place is safe enough, my husband said so, good enough for me
Maybe you should scan and see if there is anything amiss, I dont know enough about these techy things really to know what to say for sure.

I have had the same thing with mcAfee today,but i was watching the mid day news today and there has been a lot of complaints of this kind,it turned out it is a new scam,if you click on it the hackers ask you to pay to get this fixed due to this they have all your details,just to be on the safe side dont touch it

Thanks for the heads up! I'm not to worried about it and I'm sure others aren't either, we normally don't download anything form this site. at least I never have in the 14 months I've been here. Plus I have a great system for catching those pesky things. I used to use Mcafee and got that kind of stuff all the time so I got rid of it! It was annoying and I went to other spyware free programs and haven't had a problem in over 10 years, I'm a power user and just lucky I guess! You might want to send a copy to the admin here, See what they say LOL! if anything they don't usually respond to much here! Good Luck! tdemex

i said this last week after trying to get on over the weekend norton shut down the site on me for finding a trojan every time i tried to get on mylot, but of course the powers that be will not tell us anything; perheps thats why mylot is going downhill quickly

I use Avira, but that's doesn't show me any warning from the site. The AV work fine with some compress or exe files, and I guess nothing to worry probably need to re-diagnostic.
