are you afraid of posting your real pictures here in your mylot profile?

Well I am not afraid to post my real picture on here as use it as my avatar, but I like the one I am using just now,
Many people post real pictures on many social networking sites, so why not on here,

I am not afraid of uploading my image. But I don't find any important in that. No one is going to believe us even if we upload our own image..Also mostly, there will not be any chance to meet the other mylot members.Then why should we post it there. But nothing harm in uploading our own image in mylot.With the small sized image, no one can do anything harmful to us.

when i first join here, just like you i don't feel comfortable posting my pictures...hehe but now, i am loving this site and so im not afraid to post my pic here...i have them on my profile...
but to use it for my avatar, although im not afraid about it, i think i will stick to my current avatar for it looks better...haha
and my friends already recognized this one & somehow it already gives me an identity...

i'm not afraid of posting my real pictures. my avatar is of mine and my dogs eye though so not like you can see much of me but i think i have posted a picture of myself in a discussion once. i don't have them out their for anyone to see but i'm not scared of showing people either. i used to not like to show my picture anywhere but i got over that and don't have a problem now a days.

I wouldnt say Im afraid to post my real picture but I like the avator I currently have. I normally use this exact picture for all the forums and sites Im part of. I use the same picture so members can destinguish its me on multiple forums. If I repeatedly change my picture they wouldnt know it was me.

might help if i can up load a pic, i've got a very old one on most my other profile pics. but it was the only one i had at the time. difference is my hair is a lot longer. if you use a real pic then you can get a better feeling of the person, your talking/replying to.

i have my own picture. if i can do it on myspace and facebook why not here. i have no fear ofcyberspace, it is where i a most comfortable, not quite the real world. well at the moment anyways.

just like you xannebull! I was not brave enough to post any of my real photo here at mylot when I was a newbie here. After participating the activities here for nearly a year or so I know that mylot is a well and healthy organized site. From the posts and comments available here I know almost all the members here are friendly and helpful. Many of them are willing to share their photos here. So I'm glad to place a few of my real photos in the profile and share with my friends here.

I know my friends are accustomed to see my current avatar here. I like the image of the water lily in violet color in my avatar as well. It's a photo I captured in the front courtyard at a nearby chinese temple.

It's nice to know that you use your real photo as your avatar. I feel so comfortable looking at your picture and sharing my feeling and idea with you here. Seems like we are chatting face to face happily

I am not afraid about that,come on,man,here is internet,here is web2.0, web 2.0 need us to do something what we want to do.I ofen posting my real pictures on web on some blog with my friends,it is cool!!! if you got something don't wanna other people know,you just keep cool,don't need do some "real"things,you know,it's up to you.

Same feelings here... I had that feeling too the time I joined myLot.. I was hisitant to upload my pictures, but later as days pass and I have build a good relationship with the other myLot members I already built the confedence to post my own picture and now what I am using as my avatar is my own daughter's picture, but I have uploaded lots of pictures on other discussions with me and my baby or me and my husband or just myself.
