First thing you have to keep in mind when quitting is the bad effects of smoking upon your health as well as those near to you. Secondly, you should be strong willed and keep away from friends who smoke for some time. Thirdly, when the urge becomes very strong, just pop some cardamon seeds in your mouth and chew this slowly(cardamon is known to lessen the urge in smokers). The above advice is given from my own experience, i was also a chain smoker for the past 10 years, and through the above advice, i have finally kick the habit since one year back. Thank you, be strong and keep your area smoke free!!!!

Avoid being alone & be much involved in some other things that are your faves so that you wouldn't feel seperated. These will only work when you've made the very much important decision & again don't consider it impossible. Remember the law of X & y which states that "we can do anything if we want".

I have been quit now for 2 months, the first week is the hardest. before now, I have tried several times to quit and was not successful. After being a born again christian that's when I was able to quit. the Holy spirit took over me and the cravings left me. I never could have done it on my own.
I owe it all to my Lord and savior.
I don't know if you are a believer or not; But it is how I did it. Good Luck to you.
God Bless.

You must have a subjective consciousness that you must quit without any hesitation. 2. Do not believe and use any assistant product, it's useless. 3. Think about how your lung is getting black and you're getting more and more unhealthy if u continue to smoke. No doubt, it's very hard at the beginning, but you should persist, success belongs to persevering, and success belongs to you:)

For the first week smoke your 10 a day as usual, then second week go to 9 and so on till you are at 0 and have quit successful That way your body learns to live with less and less nicotine and it will not be too abrupt as if you stop from one day to the next and will then go back to smoking soon.
