I lost my privacy

leahsmom... sadly that's how it's gonna be....

i have lost my privacy long ago... when i had my first baby... they hang around when i am doing almost anything........they sit around me in the restroom at my most private moments...


my first child is now 14 and i have a 2 year old.. and i dont think i will even have my privacy back ...lolz

Oh yes, all personal space went out the window with childbirth. I have not been to the bathroom alone in what seems like forever. I sometimes take a bath but the little man knocks at the door until I let him in. I think it is kind of sweet to have someone want to be with me so often. I figure I will get my privacy back when they learn they want to have their own privacy and space. I think I might be sad when that day actually comes.

Why can't you? Don't you have any door in your restroom? Anyway they belong to your family. You should be concern more now about family privacy and not just your personal privacy because you live in same house. Good day to you.

How old are your kids? I have a toddler but I still have my "me" time everyday, thanks GOD. Even sometimes I feel that I need more. But he always have at least one hour nap everyday so when he goes for nap then, I can have my coffee, shower and lunch. But when he's awake, sometimes he tries to follow me to toilet but then I just close the door and he seems understand that I need to be myself in the toilet and so he just wait for me in front of the toilet or just play with his toys. Or I just put him in his playpen when I really need to have shower. But just sometimes I try to organize with my husband that I can go out, little shopping or just sit in the coffe shop without taking him with me and that is so nice to have that little break.

So why don't you have a nanny help you to take care of your babies?

I am sorry to say it has also happened to me as when ever i want to take a bath or even use the toilet there is always someone else who wants to come into the bathroom at the same time.We were thinking of building another bathroom as we only have the one and there are no 5 children living here as well as me and my husband.Also you can not have a conversation with out someone wanting to know what you are doing.

I am married but not a parent still. But I know what it is like to lose on your own privacy. Now why I know this is because I have elders sisters than me. And they have their kids as they are married for 10-12 years now. Whenever, these kids come along with their mothers - my sisters - for vacation, I know what they behave like. After the marriage of my sisters, I am alone home with my wife and parents. So, there is not much of a noise. But whenever these kids are at my home for holidaying, my god, they make my life really difficult. I know, they are my relatives and that, I am for them and that they are for me. But the way the atmosphere is, I really can't take it. So, I can imagine how you might be feeling.
But the flip side to this problem is that just imagine a day without these little monsters, and you will discover that you can't live without them. So, it is a sort of yes and no.

having kids means just like having your another person from your being, losing privacy is one of the common things among mother who still has little children, but i can still go to the bathroom alone, why is it that your children go with you even in bathroom?
