Perhaps you can try to sell it in ebay, I've heard that you can sell lots of things in ebay, such as ebooks, software, etc.
It's pretty good that your husband has come out with the software, I always thought of building software and selling it, so that I can earn some extra income. It's really motivating me from reading this.

if its a cellphone software, i'd suggest you get in touch with the particular phone maker of which this software is designed for. that way, you'd get more attention for it. you wouldn't get much if you just randomly select a website to put that software up.

I think you can try on some of our local website like Alibaba, Taobao? As far as i concern, it seems this is kinda high tech thing, i suggest you go to look for some bsb for some information, maybe they will know better!

i also have no idea of how to sell cellphone softwares.what's the type of this software? perhaps,you can go to the mall which was for selling cellphone and inquiry this new design is it popular with buyer.if so, maybe you can be apply a Patents and then it is no problem with selling. good luck and have a nice day!

That will depend on the phones that your software supports.
For iphones, you can try going to the app store and set up an account there to hawk your wares.
For android phones, you have to search for google sites that host these applications.
For windows mobile phones, you have to search microsoft home page for it. I read in the papers that microsoft has also launched an apps store much like the one that apple is offering.

i would suggest that you put up a website and a blog to sell it and market it to different social boolmarking sites, directories, social networks etc. sell it on ebay.
