Once my sister gave a Christmas gift to her friend a year ago. Then I was surprised when I've seen the gift of my sister to my friend. I asked her who give that gift and she told me the person, and it was indeed my sister's friend who give that gift to her. So I was a bit upset, cause I know how much my sister give effort just to have that special gift and to found out that the person didn't value and just give it to others. What do you think? Do you also give those gift that you received or kept it?

So, you want to talk about recycling of gifts. I have never done recycling of gits. I have planned it soemtimes, but I have dropped the plans later. I think we should value the person who gave the gift and keep the gift with us. We have given away some of the gift items like photo frame, show case pieces etc. to an orphanage when we shifted house. We didn't want those items and we thought those items are not required in our new house.

When a gift is given to us, we have the right to do whatever we want to that gift because we already own it. We can give to others who might need it more than us. We can keep and use it for our own benefit. Therefore, we don't have the right to be upset because it's not ours anymore. That is the problem with many who give gifts and attach themselves to that gift, so that even after giving the gift, they still think they still have ownership. That is the wrong concept of giving.
