I am from China and hunger in my mind has always had nothing to do with me or people around me because we don't see people suffering from hunger with our own eyes, but only hear it occasionally from news. India maybe one of the world's fastest growing economy, but the benefits of growing prosperity is not reaching everyone.According to a report, 45% children are malnourished and the number of people going hungry is increasing instead of coming down. It's not that India doesn't grow enough food---- in fact, it's a major food exporter of farm produce. The problem is that many people, especially poor communities, can not access it for a variety of reasons, including rising food price and poor food distribution.

Those victims of the recent calamities such as typhoons, earthquake, tsunamis maybe starving at this very moment, most of their things, properties have been washed out, destroyed or still under flood, homeless and starving, most of these people are now relying on reliefs and donations from the government and private organizations.
