2. max1950 (1426) | 3 months ago | most people take them in the morning then only drink coffee or tea, juice and all that does id flush them out an hour afterwards in your urine thats why it is so yellow or orange. the best time to take them is before a meal to get the maximum effect. if your going to take them in the morning make sure you eat a good meal but preferably none with lots of sugar so you wont crash while in school when the sugar wears off, the longer in your system the better try taking them after you eat at nite then you'll be sleeping on them all nite and wont urinate them out

6. veronizm (215) | 2 months ago | Hi uchihaseymour! My vitamin bottle says to take the vitamins together with food. Most doctors I encounter also have the same advice. I guess it's because when we eat, our digestive system is at its optimum performance so when we take the vitamins together with our meal, the vitamins are better digested:) And I think it's much better to take it during breakfast, but I guess the bottom line is that you take it with a meal; doesn't matter whether it's with breakfast, lunch or dinner:)

uchihaseymour (370) | 2 months ago | yo mean like, upon eating the meal, the same time you take the vitamins? or after the meal you take one? is it really effective?:) thanks for the response!

veronizm (215) | 2 months ago | Hi uchihaseymour! The vitamins that I'm taking now is like herbal supplements, from natural herbs, and it comes in a tablet which you can easily break/cut into small pieces. I take it together with the meal, like I cut the tablet into three small parts, then take one part and eat my food until I consume all the three parts:) But I think you can also take it after or even before a meal as long as the interval is not that big. I'm not really sure how effective it is since I just followed the instructions in the bottle but I think it's pretty effective since it can be digested together with the food:)

7. iamsolucky (1177) | 2 months ago | Hi there and smile! Many vitamins are best ingested with food, so taking them at meal time is advised. It's easy to remember to take vitamins with meals, since you are eating and drinking at that time, anyway.
Fat-soluble vitamins need fat in order to be absorbed, so they should always be taken with meals that contain fat. Fat-soluble vitamins include vitamins A, vitamin D, vitamin E and vitamin K.
Vitamin C lasts only a few hours in the bloodstream. It should be repeated every three hours for best results, or the entire dose should be divided up to take a third with each meal.
Fiber is best ingested in the morning upon rising. That way it will do its work in the colon without being impeded by food. Fiber can cause vitamins to not absorb, as it can act as a coating to the intestines, so it is best to not take vitamins before fiber. Iron is especially not absorbed well with fiber.
Probiotics are taken with meals and sometimes before a meal, usually about 20 minutes. Digestive enzymes are taken with meals as well, for best effect.
Stimulating vitamins, such as vitamin C, should not be taken before bedtime, as it can keep a person awake.
Happy mylotting.

8. gingerale (176) | 2 months ago | I think you need to ask your doctor if it's possible to change your brand. Yes, there are vitamins that make you feel drowsy or sleepy. That's the complaint of my teenage daughter. She tried taking Revicon and Enervon C and she feels okay. I'm taking One A Day for Women
