Health Care  | |  Have any of you had problems with your insurance companies refusing to pay for you to have surgery? I was just told that Blue Cross will not pay for hernia surgery, cause they have to bring in a plastic surgeon to do it.

I would call Blue Cross if it wasn't you they gave the information to. Also, speak with your doctor and see what he/she can do. Maybe send your medical records/history to Blue Cross showing the need for the surgery. Best of luck.
