What do you think is more fatal: a flood or a typhoon?

Recently, the national capital region and Northern Luzon experienced disastrous flood and typhoon, some accounts would claim that flood had the number of casualties than typhoon itself. But from what I'd experience back in the province, typhoon is more dangerous than flood. So what do you think is more fatal than the two?

Floods are usually brought by typhoons. The occurrence of flood on a clear day is very unlikely unless for some reasons a dam bursts. Cheers!

They can be both fatal. They both claim lives depending on their severity. They are even connected. A typhoon can bring a flood because of the volume of rain it brings.

It depends where the location is. If I'm in China, a flood would be more fatal. Biological Warfare is definitely more fatal than any other natural disaster. The Black Plague spreads very quickly to many areas and killing the infected.
