I think, Of course he is doing politics. Every student I know had learnt more from these coaching centers than any schools. But learning has nothing to do with it. IIT exams are the best exams if you want to clear out the geniuses from the herd. I am sure if these coaching centers had been doing something illegal and had to pay some extra money to our reasonable minister here then they would have been "acceptable". Like all the private colleges with their illegal donations are "acceptable".
And I also think, Being a politician and a Minister to boot, he will politicise every issue connected with his Ministry. If he doesn't he will be charged with dereliction of duties by the people who elected him. In regard to the IIT entrance exam cut off point, have you not observed his volte face, which is exactly what a politician would normally do when faced with flak. Sibal too has not disappointed. Let us see the final shape that will be given to the 10th and 12th Boards.Have a Great Day.

I just do not think grades always show how good or bad a student you are. It requires something more than just academic knowledge to be a good scholar and I find nothing wrong with the way we had been studying and in fact so did Mr.Sibbal.It requires a lot of special effort to get into the premier institutions like the IITs and I o not think our boys or the coaching institutes are doing a bad job. The Education Minister wants to change the whole system and bring about great depth in knowledge for the students.Nowadays the the poor students at least know what to study, with open book exams and without well constructed syllabi, and questions being asked from gigantic question banks, they would not know what and how much to study of each subject.
