I mean having a relation with different people every 2-3 months. Suddenly one day your partner comea and tell you that he/her has realized the mistake and want to be with you. Will you forget everything and start new? Would you not doubt that as he/she left other guy/girl every 2-3 months and been inconsistent, it will be same for you?

My boyfriend cheated on me and told me it was a mistake and he was drunk and didn't know what was going on, but it was never the same for us. I've already told my husband if he ever cheats his bags will be packed and by the door in 10 seconds flat. I could never get over being cheated on. I would always be wondering if he was telling the truth every time he was coming home late from work or going out to the store. I couldn't live like that, always worrying if he was cheating again.

2.  rhan04 (183) | 2 months ago |  I doubt that. I mean this is just my opinion. If ever I'm in that situation, I can and will not forget what he did to me. Ever. Besides, I don't think that is something you can change easily. In some people, cheating has become an addiction. They like the thrill of it. And I don't think they can get over that addiction so easily. There are instances that they don't even know why they are doing it. They can't explain for themselves even if you give your "whole world" to them.
But then again, that would still depend on you. On how much you can tolerate that behavior. There are people who can stand it for the sake of their relationship. Still, the time will come that they will realize that they are being stupid and would finally learn to let go.

I saw some relationship got broken because the guy cheated on her and said sorry it was a mistake and all of a sudden, you saw him screwing up again.
