My wife stopped using pills for a while now and the result is we have our 1st baby. Im happy for this one. Now, I'm just wondering if she will again use the pill today, and we made contact on that night, will it result to another baby or not? Considering that she really is fertile on that day. Need your expertise on this. I don't know anything about pills except they are one of the birth control methods and should be taken daily.

From what I know, should the first pill be taken on the first day of menstration??? Seven (7) days before a woman is fertile. I'm not sure what assurance you'll get if your wife took the pills on the day that you planned to make love that night... Shouldn't you just wait or something and let the fertile day over?

Maybe, it really is better to wait than attack. Possibility is that, she might get pregnant again. Thanks

use backup contraception for awhile-pills must be taken for awhile before they become effective, you can't just jump back into it the first day of taking them.

I used pills once for my hormonal imbalance I read the direction there if you missed to take pills for a day you can take two pills the next day. I think you should consult a doctor so he/she can advice you what contraceptives best for both you. If your wife always forgetful in taking pills why not try injectible.

Hi fellow mylotter! I am a family planning service provider and i am familiar with contraceptives. Well, you're right, pills should be taken everyday to be effective. If a woman use pills as her family planning method, she should take it everyday, preferably at the same time. Pills inhibits ovulation so she will have no fertile days. You can make love anytime you want because no fertilization will take place because youre wife does not ovulate. But if she fails to take the pill everyday the risk of pregnancy is high. She might experience bleeding also. As her husband, it is your duty to remind her on taking her pills. Good luck!

Well i personally feel..birth control pills are not really good. It has lots of effects on women and it has problem with next fertility too..Prevention is better than cure.
