Is she too young to sail alone?

It seems to me that she is crazy. After all she is too young. Maybe she dosen't know the hardships of sailling across oceans by herself. What she knows is just the romantic feeling. She should think of her parents, who brought her up so hardly.

It is the young blood that is ready to take risks and like to explore new things.As she has prepared mentally at the age of 11,she should have taken all the training by now to face the real challenge.Let us all wish her good luck and pray for her success.Cheers!

I think that the 18 year old is an experienced sailer. She has now been sailing for the last 7 years of her life. She should be able to have a radio on her yacht then she will be able to get help if she gets into any difficulties. I went to a college on the River Thames when I was 16 to 17 years old. I did some sailing there. Sailing with lots of knowledge isn't dangerous. However weather can be bothersome sometimes not to mention high waves. Good luck to the young lady.

I think she is too young to sail across oceans. But if she have faith I believe she could do it. Sometimes the perseverance of one person could make that person a successful one. maybe that is her greatest dream, and doing it whether it may cause her life means a lot to her. and maybe she even think of that dream as her whole life already.

For one thing, the girl has got guts. I think she is a bit foolish too. The oceans may look calm and exciting, but the dangers are galore, and she will be in a soup if she lands in a storm with no one to help her out. I wish she would give up such a foolish experiment or at least take some people with her for moral courage and help if need be. The romance will soon wear off, I think. Lets keep our fingers crossed for this young lady.
