Have you ever been arrested? Were you scared? |
|
Have you ever been arrested? I have and its not fun. I got arrested on a Friday evening and was forced to stay there all weekend. I was arrested for fighting once and I also had a warrant for missing jury duty. Because It was an issue to do with court and government I had to stay all weekend. FUN! I was scared to death at first. But the officers knew that I hadnt done anything wrong and that the only reason I was really arrested was because of the warrant for jury duty. They bought me Mcdonalds and Dunkin Donuts so I wouldnt have to eat the bologna sandwiches they normally give you. I didnt like it at all! There are some people that get arrested on the regular and its okay for them. There are people like me that dont ever want to do it again. How about you? Have you ever been arrested? If you're are not comfortable please dont share your reason why. dl

1. srganesh (3377) | 2 months ago | Oh!How could you enjoy it there?I just can't imagine.Usually I even tremble when I have to stop for the traffic cops for license verification. So,getting arrested and being there for the weekend full will rise my blood pressure. But as you are not a criminal, you had enjoyed the scene.I don't want to be policed like that even.Cheers!

2. jpso138 (3697) | 2 months ago | Luckily I have never been arrested. May it be a traffic violation or for a commission of a crime. I have always been a law abiding citizen. Well, I also worked with our city's SWAT unit as a medic so most often police personnel in our area as well as traffic enforcers knows me... This is the reason why, I always follow the rules and the law so as not to be considered abusive.

dloveli (1003) | 2 months ago | Good to know that we have so many law abiding citizens. I had a friend who was a EMT for the city. He could do anything and because he drove the ambulance and worked directly with the police and fire they let him go. He never got in trouble. Until one day someone who also worked on the force wasnt getting the same courtesy. He told on them all. When they investigated it, Everyone lost their jobs and was charged with conspiracy. When working with or for the government or law enforcement, the best bet is to do as you do. Follow the rules. Great Job! dl

dloveli (1003) | 2 months ago | Good Girl Xannebull! I never intended to get arrested either. I am a good girl as well. It was stupid really. My daughter had finishe her chemo and was sitting out side on a blanket with her barbies. The woman on the first floor decides that her and her druggy friends are going to now come out back and drink. I had ran upstairs to get a water bottle so we could do the barbies hair. They were going to a big fancy ball you know. lol. I come down stairs and I hear the guy saying to her why is her hair like that( it was falling out, so we shaved it). My neighbor proceeded to tell him she has cancer and he say dont you die from that? My daughter was 9 years old and going thru hell. I heard what he said and I went off. My neighbor was drunk and thought she could get away with talking trash. NOT! In the meantime my husband was on his way back from the store with the stuff for our barbie picnic. WHen he pulled up he saw me talking and my neck was going. I was trying not to yell. My daughter had come over to say come on mom and my neighbor looked at her and said "Dont interrupt when grown folks are talking" Then proceeded to tell me that it was a free country and if she wanted to talk about the fact that cancer kills she can. I lost it! I hit her! I am NOT sorry!. I am sorry because my daughter saw it. The police came and when they did they only arrested me because I had a warrant for not going to jury duty. All four police persons told the woman that she's luck they dont let me hit her some more. My daughter was so brave! She told the police that I hit them because they were teasing her about when she was going to die. I guess when I went upstairs they were rubbing her head and saying to her do you think you'll die soon. They were soo drunk they admitted it to the police. The sad part is that the warrant was because they mailed it to the wrong address. It was a mistake.THere was no way for them to verify or check because the courts and clerks offices were closed. In the end I didnt even do anything. The judge apologized to me. He also sent my daughter $100 visa gift card and sent a picture that the clerks in the office all had bandanas and the judge had shaved his head. It was in the paper and everything. However It was so scary. I live my life as a law abiding citizen. Even people like us get tired of being victimized. If I had to do it all over again, I would!. dl

AngryKittyMSV (1871) | 2 months ago | You did the right thing, dlovli, sorry that an unfortunate coincidence landed you in the clink over it. I'd have hit that idiot too. Your daughter is a brave girl, tell her that people she's never even met are proud of her strength and are praying for her.
