There are some friends of mine, they allot a budget for their make-up. They tend to buy the famous brands due to its quality. And since the situation now a days is quite tough, is it worth to allot a budget for this, hence sometimes, I think make-up is not really necessity.

hi airasheila^^;; i don't wear make-up and other cosmetics except perfume and face cream. just wear it a bit when it was required in a company i was working before. i have a simple make-up kit(lipgloss, blush on and eye shadow only) but have been with me for a long time since i rarely use it. i do take care of my face skin rather than cover it with thick foundation that would just clog the pores and make the skin unhealthy. if women have extra budget to buy those expensive make up kits, then why not..it's one way of pampering themselves i guess. but i still don't understand those who regularly buy but couldn't afford to buy food especially fruits and veggies to keep themselves healthy including the skin.

Well, you have a point on that. I also noticed some ladies, they like to buy expensive make-up rather than buying a food.

it's hard to believe how much women spend on make up. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see all the stuff my mother has, plus all the creams and such- while I only use an eyeliner, and occasionally some powder.

Hi friend women are born to look beautiful and make up contribute to it.. Allotting a budget for makeup is altogether a personal choice. If you are smart you can carefully handle the budget by proper planning!! Make up necessity mainly depends on individual.

I don't normally make up unless there's a special occasion and it must really be special because I'm lazy to make up! My budget is tight and there's no space for make up, I just content of having money for the basics, soap, toothpaste, shampoo...not make up. Famous brands...they're all made in China! The only thing that really changes is the box where the cosmetics are put, I don't think anything changes from make up bought in a dollar store or famous brand high expensive make up. They may even be made in the same factory in China and just boxed differently!
