I am smartbro user and will worked a permanent internet connection via our cable provider. You're right it's really expensive and sometime the signal is not so good.

Be careful and watch out for your internet usage--this will really eat up your allowance/budget. Manage your budget for internet usage if you're using a smartbro or globe tattoo.

Hahahaha! Your right there. I just put a budget to if, up to two hours per usage which is about P40.00. I prefer using this than going outside and use some at internet cafes which would cost P15.00 per hour, plus my ride to city, back and forth about P14.00, P7.00 per ride. I guess, just staying home would be cheaper and is more comfortable.

No there's nothing like that yet. I also hope they will offer daily unlimited use of internet for smartbro and globe tattoo. That would be awesome. By the way are you just using your pc or laptop in your house most of the time? If you do then just subscribe to their plan. It's unlimited but it's not mobile.

Ahaha. When I was reviewing I also use smart internet. I used my phone as a modem and connected it to my laptop and I was shocked with the blazing speed it gave me. I even played Warcraft online with it and know what's the greatest thing I discovered? I surfed and played for free. It's unlimited internet for me. But that was before. Maybe smart caught me and then cut off the free internet connection. Haha. Maybe you should search on the net about it. Maybe there's still free internet out there.

I went to the smart center last week to inquire about smartbro... and i don't think i would be getting one... pre paid is quite expensive because it is 10 php per 30 minutes... and there is no assurance when it comes to the connection... then if i want the unlimited one... there is a lot of requirements... so i think i will just go for other internet providers...

I am using smart bro with the antenna. Its quite fast and the use is unlimited. The bill is usually 999 a month. I also have a smart bro usb which is basically expensive. But I do not use it often. Only when I am out of town and need to check some things like my email and do some immediate research.

I am actually using smart bro post paid plan. Its unlimited and I do not have any problem with it. Though this past few months I have noticed that the speed is a little slower than before. I think its because many people in our are now using it. But still its okay and its unlimited. I also have a smart bro usb which I usually use for short term use when I am traveling.

I think sun cellular has that unlimited broadband. but it is not yet available in some other provinces except NCR and some parts of Bulacan. If you are really into surfing why not just get a plan, Dsl is quite better than broadband if it is available in your area.

I think if your are using "Huawei 3G USB Broadband Modem E160,E160G, E156G, Vodafone K3565" this is very costly because the Telco charge you by numbers of bytes you used because you are using the pre-paid plan. Similarly, they are also offering package per month but still expensive. Unlike the traditional two-copper wire Broadband xDSL is very cheap if we compares it,you can also benefit with unlimited connection download/upload. But if you are in a remote area where your place not reach by the Telco your option is WiMax or the one that you are using now 3GWLAN(Huawei 3G USB Broadband Modem E160,E160G, E156G,Vodafone K3565, etc.) but costly. I know in your place SmartBro is offering 999.00Php with unlimited internet package per month, this cheaper if you compares with your 50Php per day that you are subscribing now. The good thing with the 999.00Php package is no contract meaning if you subscribe to these package even you will used it only for one (1) month there is no bond. The "Motorola Antenna Canopy" is free in your subscription even you discontinue your subscription these Antenna is all yours. Additional good things is that you can reconnect the connection with a low fees more than half of that price in your first subscription. But in this case I think it is not legal because the guy who is offering low fees for you unlimited internet connection in reconnecting it is a free-lance techi.
