anime....anime.....anime...  | |  Hmmmmm... seems like everybody loves ANIME nowadays... both young and old...It's like goodbye days for DISNEY and other cartoons, because ANIME world sure is dominating..
Hmmmmm.. just wondering.. How many of you here from MYLOT loves ANIME?? do your really go crazy over these japanese-mede cartoons? Why do you like them?

| | | | | | | | 1.  dracoserpintenes (255) | 3 months ago |  well i do love anime but i also love all the old disney cartoons and movies so i love everything i guess. but i can tell you the reason anime is taking over in some ways is because atleast the good ones have more unique story lines and the artwork can be amaising. most american cartoonists tend to be fairly lazy in thier artwork so its to thier detriment. but the classic storys of disney and such are just that alot of them are old fairy tales put up on the silver screen and thats not really an original idea. also alot of anime has things like giant robots and little boys really like robots and explosions and the big boobed scantily clad women that alot of them have too. disney is a family thing so they dont have stuff like that for little boys and big boys too. i hope that all made sense and helped you understand.

| | 2.  edxcast (519) | 3 months ago |  Hi jaygurl, yeah i love anime, i think from anime have come some master pieces that would not be so good if other had done it. Animes like Code Geass, Death Note and Full Metal Alchemist are some series that i enjoy a lot. I think quality on other series have gone down. I mean the new animated series of disney or nickelodeon are really horrible. And they are not even close to old series like for example hey arnold. One exception is Avatar, The Legend of Aang. I think that serie was a masterpiece as well, one heck of a show for sure.
And there is also the Pixar movies. They seem to be unable to do bad movies(average perhaps, but i havent seen a bad movie from them). Up was a movie that was just mindblowing, if it depends of me i think it deserves an Oscar for best movie(not just in animated but in general).
