What's your stand between Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Manuel Cotto?

The big thing that is in store for us is a good fight between two good fighters. Beyond that, there's nothing much. Those people who are getting the big slice of the pie - the businessmen behind it are those who will benefit much because their bank account will become fatter. But we surely await the fight and I think that Pacman will pulverize Kuto. I might be wrong and it can be the other way around, yet I stand in my guess that Pacman will knockout Kuto in the first six rounds.

I think it is going to be a slaughter of Cotto and not be a good fight. Nothing is going to stop Pacquiao for a long long time. That is just my guess.

I think a lot of people here on mylot underrated Miguel Cotto and his boxing skills. The guy has only 1 lost and that one lost he was winning the fight and is a fight where a lot of people think Margarito cheated just like he did with Shane Mosley. Miguel Cotto is probly one of the best or if not the best body puncher and he has a lot of power combine with very good boxing skills. I really think Cotto is too big for Pacman and like I said before Pacmans defense is a big question mark and I really think if Cotto connects which most likely he will Pacman will go down. Cotto also has speed in his hands he is not as fast as Mayweather or Pacman but he proved against fighter like Judah and Mosley that he could handle faster opponents. I think a lot of people who are underrating Miguel Cotto are in for a big surprise.

Still I'm for Pacquiao, great fighter to emerge nowadays. Cotto is a great fighter too, and a very tough one at that too. But Pacquiao has the surprise factor still in me. From the start till the end, he always surprise me, defeating Barrera all the way to Hatton, very rare for a fighter nowadays. Cotto is a very skilled warrior, I'm more inclined for a fight tagging Mayweather and Cotto, to see who's the more badder and meaner in their category class. But here comes Pacquiao, dashing all the way from bantamweight to welterweight, ain't a feat, isn't it? Marquez goes to immitate him, but ultimately failed when he faced Mayweather, which definitely outclassed him, made him an aggressor, which is not his game. He can't do what Pacquiao is doing although hands down he can definitely defeat Pacquiao given the chance. As they say, not all fighters that are number one are invulnerable, its just that Marquez somehow knew Pacquiao's weakness, and he is at present, a shining key to defeat Pacquiao. But aside from him, we are still searching for who can defeat the famed "underdog" from the Philippines, the mexicutioner, the fighter who teach humility to those whom he defeated. And the fight with Cotto, will excite everyone, boxing fans or not.

I'm a Filipino, and of course I still want Pacquiao to win this fight. He had proved himself so many times after defeating some famous boxers of all times. And for us he can still make it up to this fight.
No one can defeat our dear Pacquiao.

Credit goes to Freddie Roach as always for arranging yet another handicap for a Pacquiao potential victim. I think the catch weight of 145 will play a big role in the event that Cotto loses to Manny. As advertised, the fight would be "speed" vs "power", and Team Pacquiao has already weakened Cotto in making him agree to shed 2 pound more than his usual. But still, anything goes when these to talented fighters step into the ring. Still, my prediction would be Pacquiao by TKO in the early rounds. His footspeed and combinations would be too much to handle.
