Do you enjoy spending time with family?

i dont think that it makes you a bad person but i guess the head of the family must initiate for the family to follow. that house no longer sounds like a home it looks like a boarding place already. family inside but hardly talk and deos not sepnd too much time together. sounds like a boarding house to me.... well i guess people at a boarding house talks more then you guys do. if i am the head of that family i wont allow that to happen. i will make sure my family will all sit down and tell me whats wrong and make sure we eat together if everybody is at home. just my opinion.
i have a wife and a three year old son and we always stay together if possible. i am also the first born in my family so i make sure that my other siblings visits my mom as well. i make schedules so that we are all together and eat together at my mothers place.

I am very sorry to hear that you don't have a very close relationship with your family. I have to say that I am the opposite. I talk on the phone with my mom several times a day, I visit her house at least once a week and we talk to eachother on facebook a lot too. I love my family. I have a husband and two children who mean the world to me. I would rather be spending time with them rather than doing anything else in the world. They are my life and without them, my life wouldn't have much meaning, I hope that one day you and your family can become close. I know that I would not be the person that I am today without my family. I think that it is hard for some people. especially if you don't get along. I hope things go better for you. Happy mylotting.

Well there are only 2 of us at home now, and we live and work together and we do talk a lot,
Communication is the key!!! Listening is where its at!!
I enjoy the time we spend together, but we do both go off and do our own things as well from time to time.
Just because you dont enjoy spending time in this manner with your family does NOT make you a bad person, why would it?
What do you think would help make family time a bit better in your household?

hmp..as for me..realy i enjoyed spending time w/ my family..although im at work but still i feel their presence always..f we are in our home,,realy we spend time together..we have mny talks..and that for you we cant say it mkes u a bad person coz u never spend time w/ them but u have just mis interpreted your environment,infact your family are longing to be close w/ you evry moment its just your feeling..

I am currently in the position you are in with being around family, but not talking, etc. Right now my wife are going through a rough time as a couple and the arguing never ends it seems. My wife is very loud and is often verbally abusive towards me and the kids at times, so I usually go by myself to a solitary place. But when things are going well, I do enjoy doing things with the family such as movies, festivals, dining out, parties, family gatherings.

I do like to spend time with my family, my immediate family that is! My boyfriend and my two kids! I try to take time every day and just chill with them and talk or whatever. And we usually don't watch much TV together cause we like different things, but we do have a few shows that we all sit down and watch! I love my family=)

In such situation, nowhere is you at fault. I must say that yes, I really enjoy being in my family. They all care about me. Actually I'm in hostel, away from parents. They miss me a lot as I do. And when I go back to my home after a long time, or even a short one, they really love me. We play indoor games together. I remain busy in some funny stuff always.

I love spending time with my family! We all interact very well together. We love to tease each other when we're happy and console each other when we're sad. My favorite thing that we do as a family is gather around the TV to watch The Jay Leno Show every night.
