decorating with a star

Since my childhood, i have seen the christmas star only in red colour. But of late, it is coming in multiple colours and with lots of decorations and looks best than one another. Though we are not christians, I too love to have one star and my hustand gets me one and I will hang it and feel thrilled. Do you put a star during Christmas? If so whether you buy it or make it your own and decorate it with shining materials and hangings

I always put up an angel on my tree. I have always had an angel on the tree since my very first Christmas. When I was a year old my dad would hoist me on his shoulders and let me put the angel on the tree. Even now I put an angel on my tree. I remember my first Christmas with my husband we had a discussion about this because he likes a star on the tree and his mom and I wanted an angel. Since it was two women against one man the women won.

I think yours is a happy family and that is why your dad will hoist his angel on his shoulders and that angel in turn put her angel on the tree. sounds very sweet. If your husband likes a star, and you and his mom wanted an angel, why can't you put both? Christmas is a happy occassion and every one in the family should be happy on that day and so as your husband. Ok thank you for responding

Wow because since I was younge the star on our tree has always been white. Until about a couple of years ago I brought topper for my tree it was multicolored and I didn't like it. I guess because I wasn't use to having a multicolored star and yes I went returned and got my all white christmas star.

White is a beautiful, serene and peaceful colour which also is my favourite colour. But since my childhood, I was able to see only red colour around my neighbourhood during christmas. now only since 2 years, varieties of glittering stars are coming in the market and it looks extremely beautiful.

I never put Star in my house. But many of my neighbours, though all of them are not Christians, hang Star in front of their houses and it looks very good to look at.Now-a-days many types of Stars are coming in the market and it is a pleasure to see variety of stars in the neighbourhood.

Yes. Stars are pleasurable to see. during christmas, i will go around our colony, to see the variously decorated stars and enjoy.
