Do you believe in Love at Sight?

Hi skkalra, i never believe in first sight. I need time to take a right choice on my time. Because it's our life. After marriage we should not able to omit her. If i love at first sight, i will talk to her for long time and then i will realise whether she is suitable or not.

Well my answer to this is yes and no..lol
Let me explain. When I was 21 I worked in a bookstore and lots of people cae in all the time. One person came in and I was giving him his change I looked him in the eye. He had eyes that were very green but automatically I felt a "connection" just something.. from then I made it my life's work (can you say stalker)to find out more about who this person was.. as it turned out he worked at a store that was at the other end of the mall. A grocery store. some of my friends knew his name and we used to go down there to see what hew was doing.. lol -did I mention I was young??
Anyway another friend of mine started talking his coworkers (2 shared an apartment)they invited us over to their apartment for a party, and then another. finally my friend tells them how I have a crush on their coworker.. so at their next party which was Christmas Eve- they call him up and tell him to come down and visit their apartment and that someone wants to meet him.
Did I get together with him? YES. it was very strong emotions in the beginning. I felt like I had known him forever - now I am convinced I have -in another life perhaps.. But I guess that is another story.
In the end. Did we stay together? ..as a Couple- NO. that only lasted a few months - but we lived together on and off.. right now it is on- he rents a room in my house. Ad we have been best friends for over 21 years!
The moral of the story would be to always trust your gut instinct! If I hadn't then I would have missed out on a very good friend.
And who knows maybe in the next life we share it will work out.. lol

Love at first sight does exist but it does not last long. Love starts from a strong ralationship. It develops slowly then becomes strong and last for longer periods or lifelong.

"Love at first sight" is an impossibility.

Sure, there can be a definite attraction, a mutual chemistry, a linking of personalities, but LOVE? No way! Not if you are talking about true love - a life-long love and devotion.

I have known couples who were immediately attracted to each other, and their attraction developed into love, but love takes time.

I think one of the biggest problems facing young people today is a false understanding of love. People "fall in and out of love" over and over again - but that is not love. Love is pure and love will last, but love takes time to develop and mature.

Most of the so called 'Love At First Sights' are mere infatuations!
A person might feel that the person he is seeing is the one he wants to hook up with, but everytime when the person eventually gets to know about him/her he starts to regret what he had once thought about him/her.
So I'd say it is all bullshine!

Though we all say the sentence, love at first sight, but it is not love. It is a firsthand choice. I agree with liking at first sight. If you really want to convert it to love, then you are to give some time to understand each other, knowing each other.

No friend, i could not make my one the "love at first sight", rather i had to wait long time to get consent from my beloved one, later on convincing my parents, her parents...., many dramas, many episodes of tears.

Yes, i married her and its a wonderfull life with her. I am the luckiest man in the world as i got my most beloved girl as my wife. Thank you.

Actually the love at first sight happens indeed, but the love does not necessarily last for long time, so i think it depends and there is no definite answer. For me, i dont believe in it because love is based on knowing each other and confirming whether each is the expected style of oneself or not.

Yes, sometimes.lol!There are moments that when you see someone it seems there's an instant connection that you easily like him or her. It is sometimes confusing but you really feel something that's beyond control.haha!But right now, it rarely happens to me as I never put consideration the physical look of a guy but more on maturity and inner personality.
