What is the best country to migrate to? |
|
For the past weeks now I've been toying with the idea that it is about time to migrate to another country. I believe that our country is no longer safe to live and raise a family. Here we will surely starve if we don't work hard. Even if we do, we are not compensated accordingly.
Now, here I am doing my research, looking for the best country where I can transfer to. To all my fellow mylotters, I need your suggestions here.

3. getbrowser (1427) | 2 months ago | From where I stand, it really depends what matters to you for there are many factors that determine your final decision.
For most people, both Australia and Canada are proper choice. The economies of both countries are far stronger than the USA and they are both far better and happier countries to live in with better social welfare, universal healthcare, opportunity for all and all of the freedoms that Americans seem to think are exclusive to their country.
Of course, the country isn't the issue, it's where you will find a great job. You should work out a position somewhere and get a work visa and take it from there.

ip5217 (319) | 2 months ago | I am seriously conisdering Canada. Their health care and education systems are so organized that people will not worry about it.
I've watched two of Michael Moore's documentaries "Bowling for Columbine" and "Sicko". He had mentioned that the governement is responsible for their health care. They've got nothing to worry. In fact, they go out of the hospital with money on their pockets.
In terms of safety, they can leave their homes unlocked without any worries at all.

4. creationhub (1989) | 2 months ago | I am not migrating because I love my homeland. But in your case, since you want our views, mine would be Norway. I like the sceneries there. Besides being up north, it's cooler than most part of the world.
Maybe the cost of living will be much higher, but think of the standard you will get there. Just my two sense of thoughts.

| 6. etioewe (54) | 2 months ago | well as others have said I think Canada and Australia are still options to look into,Also besides these country I also think Norway is another good option beacuse I just made a recent research and discovered that Norway is one of the countries of the world with peace and also job opportunities for those who are ready to work and also with professional backgrounds, I am actually thinking of making a trip there to see if I might get an opportunity in the construction sector as a civil engineer. Moreover I would suggest you make a personal research on other countries too, because there are still some countries in the world where some states or places in these countries are seeking for workers and professionals who would like to take up jobs in their country, and these countries are peaceful too and good to live in. so I would say you make an investigation and see which country is suitable for you and will have opportunities that you are looking for and also an area where you can live in peace with your family, where also you can gain enough to take care of your family. These are my suggestion.

ip5217 (319) | 2 months ago | It is impressive to see that Norway is also a highly recommended country. So far I haven't heard any bad news involving this country, sounds like a peaceful country. I just wonder if they provide opportunities for people coming from a third-world country.

7. pierone (730) | 2 months ago | Hello friend. I'm an Italian expatriated in China. I guess your is not an easy question to answer. From my point of view there is not THE "ideal" country where to migrate. It depends on lot of personal evaluation factors. First of all, it depends on how much money you have right now. If you are rich enough, then a really good place to expatriate is Costa Rica. Great climate, quite good safety, easy burocracy, good possibilities to run your own business. Language is spanish, could be not a so big problem for you (tagalog have lot of spanish derivative terms inside). On the contrary, if you have not a good rental yet, then probably Canada can be a good choice. Also several countries in Europe could be good choice. About the medical care, also in Italy they are almost free, but there you can't leave your house unlocked so safely;). Wish you can find your "ideal"country soon. Best wishes for your life.

10. greatsasuke (236) | 2 months ago | If you can let me know which country your from that could help me understand the situation your running away from. As for moving to another country it all depends what you are looking for. Are you looking for a country with lots of employment opportunity in manual labor or office work? Do you want a quiet country where your child will have a nice upbringing? Is climate important to you? Do you like it cold or hot weather? These are just some questions to help me narrow down the locations I could suggest. In general, I think I would tell you to move to Australia if possible. They seem to have some good employment opportunities, good weather, and nice people. I have never been there myself, but I have a couple of friends who live in Australia and this is what they tell me. Hope this helps.
