 Oh How the Mighty have Fallen
In seeing the previews I would have assumed that Russell had hurt himself. But it was quite the surprise to see how he went down. He was a fierce competitor and hard worker. Truly Galu may have lost the driving force that could have brought them victory. You have to admit though, he went down giving it ALL that he had. Russell…I salute you!
To Strengthen My Resolve
I don’t know about you, but it seems to me that this could be the turning point in this game. Both teams now have made bold statements. On one side you have Foa Foa who are really down to what I believe are 5 of the strongest players in the game. On the other side you have Galu who has a score to settle after their tie/loss to Foa Foa. It will be very interesting on who stands up to dominate this part of the game.
A Second Wind
Foa Foa, I believe, may have found a second win. But in order to make it to the merge they have to win the next few immunity challenges. And with Russell S gone that is a very good possibility. I do not believe that Galu has the organization and the motivation without Russell.
A Sidewinder
Although the focus was not on Russell H this week, I do see that he is still slithering through the grass and according to previews for this week, will be making a move on the other side. This is how a man that has nothing to lose plays the game. He is able to take risks without worrying about the outcome of those risks.
Final Four
As we get closer to the impending merge I have seen a little clearer of how things are falling. Therefore here are this weeks Final Four picks.

| doubleloveyou (834) | 1 month ago | No, I think Russell will get rid of Liz next. BUT...I do not think they will have to vote. I think Foa Foa will win immunity. I think they really do have the momentum and Galu, aside from their talk, has lost a strong person and great motivator.
I would love to see Jaison in the final 4, but he has a long way to go and he is still a whiner. Their will be some double eliminations. They will have to inorder to get the numbers down quicker. They are in week 6 and still have 13 people playing. That put them at the half way mark where with 16 to start they would have been down to 9 or 8.
I think Russell can pull off the final 4. We will soon see. | |

So ridiculous. Must be cuz it sounds like D i c k - see it will display if a space is left between them. - or if u do this D.ick
The only country i can think of that uses the word M i c k is the UK, where they use it to indicate making a joke or to tease a person....as in "Taking the M i c k". But it sure doesn't belong classed as MC.
Like I said before, in my discussion, the algorithm to determine MC needs a complete rework if you ask me. It seems to be designed to stifle a persons thoughts.
I'm not a sensitive person (at least not when it comes to swear words) but it does bug me when normal free flowing innocent speech is quashed as inappropriate.

My new plan is to just use a few words side by side - at least then it will be easier to determine which ones are triggering the MC - I even noticed it MC'd one of yours Pastor, in last weeks thread. And the ONLY word that might have triggered it was "M i c k" and for what, no other reason than it sounds like D i c k maybe? Who knows..It is one silly a s s e d algorithm, that's for sure.
I sure hope Russell Swan will be ok. He truly is a great guy. Great spirit, great drive, great emotion, loyal leader, but maybe not the most diplomatic of personalities, cuz you really knew where you stood with him. Which, had he not taken ill, likely would have caused his demise in the game anyway. Survivor is NOT for the faint of heart in the deception department.
I agree Pastor. I do believe that if you enter that game already being not only a millionaire, but a multi-millionaire (which i do believe Russell H is, btw) it leaves you so free to really play the game. Unencumbered with what-ifs. I quite literally would not be surprised if he wins this season. He is smart, fast, strong and has endurance with no small amount of determination and doesn't trust anyone. That's one helluva combination in Survivior.
So...I'm sticking with my same F4 picks as last week.

I looked back at the footage of previous episodes and he (Russell H) has never dictated who should go. Listen to the way he approaches people. Always with a question. In other words he is doing a mind game where he plants the thought in their mind and when they come up with the answer he wants. that way They think that they are the ones making the calls.
I will give you an example.
If tell you to pick 3 numbers between 1 and 5. (Now my number is 3 that I want you to pick.)
You pick 2, 4, 5
So I say "Great, you have removed 2, 4, 5. Of the numbers remaining, 1 and 3, pick one of those."
You pick 1
So I say "Ok so what number is left?"
You say "3"
So I made you pick the number 3.
Now let's say that on your last pick you chose 3 instead of 1.
I would then have said "Ok great your final pick was 3"
Either way I can manipulate you to choose the number I want you to pick.
That is all Russell is doing. He is making people think that they are the masterminds. He ONLY talks about his ability to manipulate people and his arrogance in the side conversations on camera, not in front of people.
Now granted I hope that he gets out soon, but I think he will still go further. It really all depends on the next few challenges. | |

| doubleloveyou (834) | 1 month ago | I think it will be a combination of Foa Foa having a near win, Galu loosing Russell which may allow Foa Foa a chance to get the upper hand. From what it looked like Russell was the motivator in the camp and with out him their may not be the unity they need to stay on top.
We'll just have to see.
On Russell H, I believe that if he can make it to the merge he can make it to the final 4. | |
