Have a car is a basic need??

Hello kawaksukhi this isc checkmail and think car isn't a basic need in our life, as most of us dwell in cities mostly developed or developing with many facilities of transportation.In today's world there worst problem of traffic and pollution created by these vechiles.So think its not a basic need but an basic threat.Else it will be useful in area where there is less or no transport facility which is rarly experienced.

For me it is.I live on the outskirts of a metropolis where public transport is still not as frequent as desired.Therefore, for communication and commutation purposes a car is essential. For me a small family vehicle is good enough and at present I have a second hand one.But I am rather fond of it and even though I know I need to replace it,I cannot bear the thought of doing it.
