Who do you think is better: Jay-Z or Kanye West?  

Jay-Z. I think Kanye is talented but i disagree with what he did during the awards. So i suppose i've sort of put a personal dislike on him.

I think that they are two different styles of hip hop. Jay-Z is more traditional, east coast hip hop. Kanye is a bit more modern and more of a crossover. I'm not too impressed by either of them. But, I do think that Kanye is a bit more creative and entertaining than Jay.

Kanye sure was creative at those music awards, and his little out burst was really quite good, lol
Jay Z is good though, he headlined a rock festival here and he went down quite well given no rapper had ever headlined a festival like it before here in the UK

I personally dislike both of their music. But Jay-Z is definitely better.
Kanye is a complete loser and an idiot. What he does at nearly every award show is both stupid and unforgivable. In case you weren't aware of this Kanye was quoted to say "I am the new Jim Morrison. I am the new Cobain." Now, this comment is truly preposterous. To compare yourself with musical genius when all u do is mess around with music sitting in a studio is just sheer stupidity.
All his music gives the vibe of "i've heard this somewhere before" in my opinion. His arrogance and insolence makes him seem like a terrible human which just reduces my opinion of him and his music at the same time.

I think as far as Singers go Kanye West beats Jay Z anyday but there both good it just depends on the type of music you like to listen to

Jay-z pretty easily. Reasonable Doubt is a great album

i'd say Kanye! basically, because he's about 100 times more creative than Jay-Z who's songs still sound like his 1st album. But Kanye switches up his style and he makes his and most of Jay-z's beats too!

Although I like Jay-Z more than Kanye as a person, I think Kanye is the better artist. He is a musical genius when it comes to hip-hop. His beats are amazing, and part of the reason Jay-Z kept his popularity through the years. He is also very good at rapping, he is the king of the one-liners. Every album he has come out with I have a ton of respect for besides 808's and Heartbreak. Jay-Z's best album without a doubt is Reasonable Doubt. It still doesn't compare to the creativity that Kanye has. Kanye is better than Jay-Z!
