do you and your parter fight about money

I get so annoyed at how much my hubby can spend. he tells me he tells me he understands that we are on a tight budget right now i don't have to keep reminding him but he spends like crazy. i showed him our budget and how we are actually going over budget right now but then 10 minutes later oh can we have this added to the budget or can you give me an extra 40 a week for work. he is obviously not getting it but tired of me showing him. not sure how else to get it through his head

My partner and I rarely talk about money, so we don't fight for it. Even we never quarrel about it. In fact, we have our own income, our proper bank account and we spend almost independently. Sometime one of us has a big plan needing a huge budget, then this one must talk to the other for an advice. But in general, we have the same opinion, and evrything goes through.
