It is said that money can't buy happiness

i do not think money can buy happiness... BUT IT HELPS!!!! of course i think the proper amount of money it`s more than enought... but what`s the proper amount of money?? i find my self thinking it`s never enought... i have money for me and my little family... but now... i want to help to my bro, and my aunts and uncles, and grandmather... finally i think... ok... i`m not happy with out the money, but i do not think i`d be happier with it!!!

Here's my perspective of it, from personal experience...

I think money CAN buy people happiness. However, excess of it can cause problems. The wealthiest 2% of the population own more than half of the world's wealth. Look at them; They're probably laughing all the way to the bank, even though they could be sharing some of that wealth with the poor. They are truly miserable, because instead of putting it towards the common good, they choose to squander it on luxury goods. To me, expensive novelties seem like a waste of time, my money would be better spent making sure me and the people that I care about have enough money to get by in life. Case in point, I've been giving one of my friends some money so that they could stay in their apartment and not have to worry about getting food to eat or being evicted, she's extremely poor and I want to make sure she's alright, especially because she's a crush of mine, and I care about her deeply. In that sense, I'm buying her some momentary peace of mind, and that makes me happy.

Precisely,...who can buy happiness and love anyway?

And...who can be happy with love alone and no money?

Thu money can't love buy and happiness,yet,love can't survive without money too.

It is a common knowledge,we need money to live.
If not,then,we can stay home and just make love all the time (hahaha)

This is a true statement, "money can't buy you love." Generally, this means that just because you make a whole lot of money and you spend money on a women or women does not mean that they are going to truly love you for who you are on the inside. They will love you for your money. There are many women that are what america calls, "Gold Digger." The only reason they are with a rich man is for his money. Some men think that they can buy love through gifts, wine and dinning, and giving money to a female. They think that they can buy their way to her heart. It does not work that way. Love is unconditional. Whether you have money or not you are going to love that person regardless.

On the other hand, most people spend so much time making money that they do not have time to truly enjoy the money. What is the use of making all this money and still unhappy and lonely, not having anyone to share it with and make smile.

At the end of the day, I don't think telling a homeless person that money wouldn't buy him happiness is going to make him feel any better.
I think I'd be happier if I didn't have to worry about where I'm going to get the money for food. I understand that huge amounts of money can sometimes change people for the worst, but a little may help!

I believe that money cant buy happiness as simple as 1 2 3. Because if you are not happy with a relationship and you are just there because of money than you will never feel happy:-)

I believe it can make you feel more happy. It may make you feel more useful and successful which can make a person happy. When I had a job I felt much better than I do now. I was able to buy my own clothes and anything else that I desired without having to ask my parents for money. I felt important and responsible.

surely,money can't by happiness,yeah,we should enjoy our life,work and entertainment,enjoy the present life,happiness is a kind of attitute of life,one can be happy on the thing,another may unhappy on the same thing,just depends on yourself,what we should do to enjoy our present life,live a happy life.life itself is a wonderful thing.

I don't think it's true that you can't be happy when you have no money. I think it's very rare, but some people make it their mission in life to live with no money! Of course these people make a decision to live like that and they also tend to live in relatively rich countries where 'free, rich pickings' are all around them, in supermarkets skips etc. It's not a lifestyle I'd choose for myself though!

I think it's really interesting that all the websites/articles about living for less mostly concentrate on finding things at the lowest price or even for free. Maybe we should be concentrating on being happy without lots of 'stuff'.

My grandfather has lived his life by only buying what he can afford and what he (or his family)really needs. One of his favourite sayings is "enough is as good as a feast". He's in his 90's, is very fit and healthy because his diet has always been good (no spending money on junk food or overeating) and is surrounded by friends and family who love him because he has never chased material things and has concentrated instead on being a good friend and fantastic person. He's really a hero of mine and of all the people who know him.

If you have enough money to adequately feed, clothe and house your family, anything extra you have left, makes you rich!

In my opinion, money can make our life colourful. But it doesn't mean everything.Sometimes even you've got a lot of money, you don't feel happy. That is life I think. Without money you can do nothing and on the other hand you can't do everything just with lots and lots of money.
