| |  I think you can be addicted to almost anything, in my opinion. It's not unheard of to be addicted to the internet - in fact, I bet a lot of MyLot users are! Some addictions are just pushed to the side because they aren't as life-threatening as others (like drug addictions). *shrugs*. But I can definitely imagine someone becoming addicted to an internet video game!

| |  Yes, I'm sure that someone could be addicted to the internet. People can get addicted to almost anything . . .
Good thing that the things I use the internet for do not have high addictive properties, I can go on mylot and make some posts and stop whenever I want to. I have given up playing many of these "hard-core" games that eat up a lot of time. Instead, I watch Star Trek, play silly browser games such as SpaceInvasion, which is a text-game, and Runescape to buy and sell things.
I think it is frightening, though, how people can be thinking about the internet all the time, but when it gets taken away . . .  Sometimes I think technology has changed the world for the worse, with people becoming addicted to it . . .
