I root for the Raptors but I expect the real challenge to the Lakers from the east will be someone else. The Celtics, Cavaliers and Magic are all strong. Cavs got off to a rocky start and I was tickled to see the Raptors beat them. The season is young though and the Cavs haven't gelled as a team yet.

Seems to me the Cavaliers spent a lot of time preparing for the Celtics and didn't come to the game as prepared for the Raptors as they should have. A lot of standing around flatfooted on both ends of the court. That's a sure sign they aren't completely comfortable with each other yet. They should improve quickly. Don't hang too much on this game. If you're counting the Cavs out and thinking the Raptors are a real contender, you're jumping the gun. Nice to see Bargnani play real well against the likes of Shaq though. | |
