What is it like to be a single mom?

hey can you add in those who, have partners but they don't do much towards helping you with the child. i feel this way a bit, when i don't get the support i need with my son. even thou his father is there, he's not much help and you just feel like a single parent. doing everything, and round the house as well, plus working. the only thing he does is pick him up from school, and have him for the arvo.

I am an eighteen-year-old single mom and I know where you're coming from. It can be so stressful at times. I relieve tension by ranting endlessly... ere, 'blogging', i mean! I also have to continuously come up with new ways to make more money and save money. I find a lot of freebies on the internet, so I post them on my blog for other moms to use too... sharing the wealth is good lol.

I love my daughter so much, and I know I couldn't get far without my own mother's love and support! It is still very hards sometimes though.

I am not a single mom. But I have two best friends who are. One of them already have two sons with different dad. She said it is much hard to be a single mom for you get to be the mother and the father in one...But the good thing about it is that you have all the power in you. No one could tell you what you should not do or should do.

being a single mum is tough, especially because there is no one there to help raise the child, no one there to help pay bills or babysit or take them out for the day so we can have a day to ourselves, being a single mum is a 24/7 job, but it does have it's up side, it's fun and it's rewarding, i raised 3 boys from when my eldest was 5 and my youngest was 1, no one helped me, i was shunned by the ex's family because i didn't meet up to their requirements and refused to do what they TOLD me, i was not going to be bullied by a bunch of wannabe gangsters and end up with nothing in my life and i was definitely NOT going to let my sons turn out like them, i wanted a good future for my kids so i went it alone, now my eldest is 25 and my youngest is 20 and they are good lads, they have a great job, one has a 5 year old son, so i am proud of the way i raised my boys, if i had have stayed with that family, my sons would have turned out just like that lot...losers....luckily i took them away from that and they have done great....

As far as I know, to be a single mom means one should be ready to face the future without any help, which is really a difficult task to do.

As you have said above, being a single mom can be depressing at times. They need to look after their children while they need to spend large months of time on job. When their children get sick or into some trouble, they have to stop their job at hand and pay more attention to them without any hestation.

Of course, if they can strike to the end, obviously, they will be the happiest people in the world.
