 just now i replied to a post which pointed out to the importance of expressing our love to our loved ones.it reminded me of my ex boyfriend .so here comes this discussion.
i used to be a less expressive one before i met this guy.he gradually convinced me that i should be saying i love you every time we talked or met .but i think i over did it and formed a habit to say it very frequently.it went fine till three years then everything changed.he became abusive,cheated on me and told me to move on when i told that i loved him only.i can clearly see that the magical words have lost their meaning.during that bad denial phase i used to blame myself for expressing so frequently which made it easier for him to take me for granted as he was sure i am committed to him.do you feel the same? or you feel that expressing as frequently as possible can increase more bonding...
