My Computer is Alive! Weird?!

Hahaha... yeah motherboard and memory is like right brain and left brain or left brain and right brain Anyway, if you have just small dirt in your brain, you will have the biggest headache all day long. I think the same thing happen to your PC . Usually, i just blowing the dusts inside my PC. It does the job.

Wow thats good to know. I am not really technical but can fix most minor problems. I will know in the future if the usual stuff doesn't work to fix it then I will check there is no dirt inside. Its amazing how something so technically advance can be bought down by specks of dust!

That's great your computer came back to life! And especially that it was something so simple and not expensive to fix.

I have a cat and dog so I have to open my computer and clean it out quite frequently or the fur will cause the fans to stop and cook my vid card or processor. But I never thought about pulling the ram out and cleaning that. Seems like it's between the pins pretty tightly, what could get in there? o_0 But now I will do that when I clean out the case. When you're cleaning it you want to make sure you're grounded either with a strap or make sure you touch the metal case and discharge safely into that. Also to push the on/off button a few times and discharge the caps on the boards or they sure will give you a shock.

wow that is good news. so you didn't get charge since he was your brother's friend who fixed the problem. i don't think i will clean my computer parts myself. i will just let them do the cleaning. i guess my computer which is rebooting often time has the same problem i mean dirt problem.

Im a computer science student and yet, i dont know that dirt can damage pc.hahaha. Well, thanks for the info anyway.^_^
